Our dog Windsor passed away today. It has been a long day full of emotions. My husband got windsor in 1995 in Nicholasville while at UK. I came into the picture in 1999. I wouldn't say that I am a "dog person", but Windsor wasn't really just a dog. He was a friend, guard dog, companion, and just an all around good dog. I honestly didn't know how much he meant to me until today. As I walked out on the porch tonight I looked over at where he always layed and just cried. How could he be gone? He was my guard dog...he kept me company when no one else would. I felt safe with him around although he couldn't move very well and his hearing was gone. He was there and that's all that mattered until today. You will be missed Windsor!! We all love you.
