Where does time go?
Where does time go? I feel like time flies until it comes to adoption and then it just creeps. We are making progress, but it's just hard to see. I am really ready to hit the adoption paperwork full force and bring home our sister/daughter. In the past I have always said well we have time....we can wait until Luke is in Kindergarten.......I just need more time, but I'm ready now...we are ready now. I know it is still going to be a long time, but it never hurts a girl to dream right? We have all been so busy it seems like. Cole is in school now and that brings on a whole new game. He goes where I teach and I am so thankful for that, even if he's not:) I have a new nephew born in January. Yes, I said nephew. That makes 5 boys between my sister and I. Here are some pictures that I have taken on the days when it was warm enough to get outside.

Another Snow Day
Yesterday we had 3 inches of snow and so school was cancelled on both Thursday and Friday. I am going to hate working in June, but staying home with the boys sure is nice. We tried to sleigh ride today, but with it being only 10 degrees it was difficult. Lets just say this was not one of my better ideas...I'll just admit that right now:) Cole sure did enjoy what little time we did spend outside and well Luke would just say, "Mom, I'm cold...too cold." So needless to say we spent very little time outside.

Merry Christmas 2010
This Christmas went so fast. Brad worked almost the entire time I was off, but we still had a great Christmas. I went shopping one day with all the girls (minus Kelly) and had a blast. It just doesn't get any better than shopping with other women. What a day to remember!! The boys loved loved loved being home and just doing nothing. We stayed up way too late and got up way too late. We had a beautiful snow that came just in time for Christmas day and it was so pretty! The boys loved playing in the snow.

Fall Break.....It's the best!
This fall break I got the idea to make a quick trip to Gatlinburg. We had a great time, but oh how I enjoy being home. We did everything the kids wanted to do while there...well almost everything. Several times on the way there I thought that maybe Brad and I were going to go crazy. It is not easy traveling with the boys. Regardless of the road trip we sure had a great time. I am so glad that we made it a quick trip so that we were able to spend a couple of days at home before going back to school and work.

A busy start to summer vacation....Love it!!
My last day of school was June 3rd and we have not stopped running since. My son plays t-ball and I am his biggest fan. Love love love it!! Brad and I took a mini vacation ALONE to Chicago. Thanks Memaw and Pepaw, Nana and Pops and Joyce. Yes it takes everyone if we go out of town:) We have been swimming in the pool at least a couple days a week. Staying up way past our bedtime. Sleeping in late. Eating chocolate chip cookies in bed. Running barefoot. Roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Riding the 4-wheeler. Grilling. Just hanging out with family and loving every minute. Here are a few pictures of our fun times so far.
